Summer is almost here, which means for the Class of 2023, application season is just a few short months away! While it’s tempting to lounge by the pool, the days ahead are some of the most critical in a high schooler’s journey to college. Summer is a great time to set goals and check things off your to-do list! 

That’s why Class 101 is excited to launch our all new Summer Jumpstart program, a 90- day application prep program designed to jump students into action when it matters the most. Beginning May 1, our college planning experts will work one-on-one with students so that when Common App opens on Aug. 1, they are ready to apply to schools. 

Here’s what Class of 2023 juniors can expect from Class 101’s Summer Jumpstart:

– A summer roadmap and month-by-month timeline for accomplishing all college application prep work.

– A plan to get above-average teacher recommendations, an upgraded resume, and a stand-out college essay.

– Test prep and registration for the SAT/ACT. 

– Get familiar with Common App and receive Application pro-tips from admissions insiders. 

Summertime is the perfect time for students to get ready to submit college applications. Without the added stress of responsibilities at school, students can remain focused on long-term goals like college applications. Summer leaves more time in a weekday for students to schedule practice tests, research schools and brush up on their resumes—whereas during the school year, these activities are usually crammed into nights and weekends. 

From finding the right school to meeting deadlines, writing essays and everything in between, the college application process can be intimidating. But with a little guidance, lots of support and a solid plan, your student will have their acceptance letter in-hand before you know it.
