We are excited to announce the opening of our 16th franchise location in West Tennessee! Nina Heckler is the owner of Class 101-West Tennessee, where her mission is to help students and families navigate the complex steps leading to successful and affordable college admission. Class 101, a 19-year-old company, has helped over 3,100 students earn over $136,336,000 in scholarships, study and prepare over 8,000 ACT/SAT tests and attend over 300 colleges around the world. In West Tennessee, Nina works with students conducting one-on-one college planning, preparation for standardized tests, facilitating visits to universities across the country and conducting financial aid workshops for families.
Nina earned her B.S. from the University of Central Florida, an M.A. from both Baylor University and St. Mary’s University and her Ph.D. in Sociology and Educational Technology from the University of Alabama. She has served as a college professor and department chair in the field of Sociology and Family Studies. Her 15+ years in academia, coupled with her 5+ years of community counseling, has highlighted the need that students have for direction and focus when making plans for college. She is excited to bring Class 101’s proven methods and personalized service to college bound students in her community.
