A career as an electrical engineer is certainly not the most direct path to becoming a college advisor, but that’s just what happened to Steve Shishani, who recently opened Class 101’s newest location in Citrus Heights, CA. Two of Steve’s children have successfully navigated the college planning process with Steve’s help, and it was this experience that demonstrated to him how important outside help can be.
He found that Class 101 was providing these vital services to students across the country, and Steve made the decision to open a Class 101 location and be that resource to students in his community. Additionally, Steve has had experience at the college level, both as a faculty member and as an administrator so he has seen first hand the importance of proper college planning for incoming college freshmen.
Steve is excited about this new chapter in his own life and is looking forward to helping the students in his community with every aspect of college planning as they discover options for their own futures.
