Class 101, the national leader in college planning are please to welcome Andrew and Jackie Zahuranec as the newest members of their Class 101 family. Their location in Cleveland ,Ohio marks the 24th location for Class 101 and the second in Ohio. After successfully guiding their own four children into college, Jackie and Andrew knew they could offer a unique perspective to families and help them with the entire college planning process. Andrew and Jackie joined Class 101 to help young people and their families go through the college planning process.
Andrew attended the University of Toledo and received a degree in Industrial Engineering. After college, he pursued his passion by starting a manufacturing company. He ran his company for 30 years, and credited much of his success to identifying both talent and passion in the applicants he interviewed. Knowing that he wanted to continue to help young people find their passion and succeed in the workplace prompted Andrew’s interest in college planning. Andrew hopes to help students discover their passion and apply to schools that cater to that educational niche.
As a certified teacher, Jackie always had dreams of doing her part to help others reach their potential. While raising their four children, Jackie volunteered as a substitute teacher and was active in school fundraising programs. Jackie has worked extensively with students as both a teacher and a coach, even taking student-athletes to tournaments and competitions. She also continues to donate her time to many organizations as a fundraiser and is proud to have helped raise more than $10,000 for the Susan G. Komen foundation.
Jackie and Andrew’s personal experiences combined with Class 101’s twenty years of college planning will help students with all of the aspects of the college planning process including ACT/SAT prep, financial aid help, and college and scholarship applications. Jackie and Andrew, welcome to the Class 101 team!
